PCO Hydroxyl Generator Treats Up to 3,200 Square Feet + optional 32G Ozone

Description:
The BoiE Hydra Fusion is a twin-optic hydroxyl generator with an integrated ozone generator. The HydraFusion uses space-age PhotoCatalytic Oxidation (PCO) technology to safely remove odors, bacterial spores and pathogens from occupied areas, leaving nothing but fresh, clean air. The unit's optional 32,000 mg/hr ozone generator works in tandem with the hydroxyl generator for tougher cleaning jobs in unoccupied areas, making the Fusion a complete home or business solution.

When used in occupied areas, the Fusion functions as a true hydroxyl generator, which means that is does not generate ozone and is safe to run continuously. The air passes through a UV light-activated catalyst that safely generates hydroxyls (and super-oxide ions) that neutralize contaminants. The resulting byproducts are harmless carbon dioxide and water, leaving nothing but fresh, clean air.

True hydroxyl technology is safe for deodorizing and disinfecting the air in college dorm rooms, apartments, offices, daycare centers, gyms, fitness centers, locker rooms, hotels and motels, vehicles , RVs, clinics, nursing homes, funeral homes and many other areas without affecting daily routines.

About Hydroxyl Technology:
EPA-registered EstablishmentHydroxyls are highly-reactive (radical) molecules formed naturally when UV light from the sun splits apart water molecules in the air. The resulting hydroxyl radicals instantly oxidize pollutants nearby. Hydroxyls are nature's primary method of cleaning contaminants from the atmosphere using only sunlight and water vapor. The Hydra Fusion uses UV light and a catalyst to mimic the reactions that generate hydroxyls, to cleanse indoor air.

While instantly killing bacteria and viruses including corona-type viruses¹, the Fusion's hydroxyl generator is safe to operate continuously around people, pets and plants. A 2020 study suggests that COVID-19 can circulate in the air for up to three hours.¹ UV light alone will not destroy viruses circulating in the air; HEPA filtration cannot trap something as small as a virus, but PCO technology has been proven to kill viruses on contact.² While no air purification system can universally prevent illnesses, it is critical to take what steps you can and to follow government hygiene guidelines.

Odors from flooding, mold spores, cigarette smoke, fire damage, sewage spills, off gassing, body odor and decomposition are all safely broken down by a hydroxyl generator until all that remains is carbon dioxide and water

PCO hydroxyl generation, originally developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to purify air onboard a space station, is ozone-free and safe to use indoors for continuous operation. The HYDRA FUSION uses a 368-nm UV-A (black light) hydroxyl reactor with dual optics that instantly breaks down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other contaminants. The large air intake can be oriented vertically or horizontally for optimal positioning.

Design Features:
The Hydra Fusion has a high static pressure 250 CFM fan that draws air through its nano-catalyst reactor. The IPX7 certified enclosure is designed for the harshest environments on the planet and can be opened for service and locked for safety. Includes a straight-blade power inlet that accepts standard extension cords for convenience, and an outlet to connect accessories such as BoiE's Ultrasonic Hydroxyl Accelerator.

In Hydroxl Mode, the Fusion can be left running continuously in occupied areas for as long as it takes to remove odors and break down contaminants. The unit has the latest PCO technology including safe-to-view TiO2-coated UVA lamps rated for 5,000-hours, and BoiE's unique 360-Surround permanent nano-anatase TiO2 reactor grid to produce the highest levels of hydroxyls possible without restricting airflow.

Shock Ozone Function:
For tougher jobs where odors persist below the surface, shock-level ozone is an effective alternative because it spreads throughout a space and reacts with contaminants over a much longer period of time. When switched to Ozone Mode, the HYDRA FUSION activates its 32,000 mg/hr ozone module in addition to the hydroxyl reactor. The resulting ozone saturates the area while the hydroxyl generator continues to clean the air. When the machine shuts off after a pre-determined period of time, the ozonated air reverts back to normal air within 30-60 minutes.

The Fusion uses high-quality 304 Stainless Steel ozone plates and the latest high-frequency electronic transformers that produce much more ozone than older technology, allowing most jobs to be completed in 30-60 minutes. The Fusion also accepts an optional hose attachment (available at checkout) that can be used to funnel ozone into vehicles, air ducts and small spaces.

Bottom Line:
The Hydra Fusion offers BoiE's best price point for the number of features and has enough power for spot treatments. It is great for cleaning rooms in occupied buildings where the machine can be run for longer periods of time without removing pets, plants or occupants. The integrated 32,000 mg/hr ozone option is a valuable feature and can be used to remove serious odors from unoccupied homes and vehicles. The Fusion is a good tool for a service business because it is built like a tank and can be easily cleaned and repaired. Using BoiE's optional Ultrasonic Hydroxyl Accelerator accessory can turbocharge the air intake with moisture to maximize hydroxyl production.

Like all BoiE products, the HYDRA FUSION was designed by professionals for professionals to exceed, outlast and outperform the competition!
