OSHA Safety Standards: The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has established a Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) for ozone of 0.10 ppm (parts per million), calculated as an eight-hour Time-Weighted Average (TWA). If ozone concentrations exceed this limit, operators must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before entering a treatment area until levels have returned to a safe range.
